This school was built in a poor community in the city of Governador Newton Bello, a municipality in Maranhão that has the lowest Human Development Index (HDI) in Brazil. The school was built in just 10 days, in a place without access to electricity and water and was entirely donated by Quick House to the government of the State of Maranhão.
